FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What time should I arrive?

    We ask that you arrive 30 minutes early for your initial appointment to fill out paperwork. The paperwork is available to print on our website. If you’re able to print the paperwork and fill it out ahead of time, we ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early for the check-in process.


  • What should I wear?

    We ask that you wear loose comfortable clothing to allow full mobility during the assessment and exercises. If you are being seen for your lower body, we ask you to wear shorts or have them readily available to allow the therapists full access to the area.


  • How long will I be there?

    Your initial assessment will take about an hour, not including time for paperwork. Subsequent appointments usually take 45 - 60 minutes to an hour but can take up to an hour and a half depending on the treatment plan your therapist develops.


  • What will I be doing during my treatment?

    Treatments typically consist of a combination of physical activity/exercise, manual therapy techniques, and modalities. Your therapist and individualize your session to meet your needs based on their findings during your initial visit.


  • Which Insurances do you accept?

    We accept most private insurances as well as Medicare, worker’s compensation, and no fault. With ever changing insurance coverage, the list that we accept often changes. Contact us to find out if we accept your insurance provider.


  • Do I need a script from my doctor to be seen?

    No, you don’t, in New York, physical therapists have direct access which allows them to see patients for 10 visits or 30 days without a script.
